Libraries

In these straitened times, it's good to know that some public libraries still have a proper acquisitions policy. This is a photo of the excellent library on Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park, run by the London Borough of Islington:

Hi,
Enjoyed the book a lot, although the trail seems to go a bit cold when Nation goes to California. Was there less documentation or were you less interested in Nation outside of his UK context? Mention of a 'Merlin' TV show is tantalizing. And you overlook one superlative Nation TV script, his Take-Over episode of the Avengers...

Yes, I'm sorry about Take-Over - it got lost in the attempt to bring the manuscript down to manageable proportions, and I didn't realise it had disappeared entirely until publication.

I enjoyed reading CRISIS, WHAT CRIS? and REJOICE!REJOICE! Do you have any plans to write an account of the rather blander 1990s?

I've just noticed the ommission of the last 2 letters in 'Crisis?!'.

Thanks for the kind words about the books, Tyrone, and in answer to your query: yes, there'll be another one along in a bit - please see my blog entry for today.
